In a statement, Chito Rono said Navarro was allegedly tied up and attacked by a group of men when he visited a female friend at her condominium. He is now recovering and may undergo operation due to the injuries he sustained. Rono added that he is also unable to talk properly following the attack.
Due to Navarro’s condition, he will temporarily not be seen on the noontime program and other television projects.
