39th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries this 2013


The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has been the highlight of the Philippine movie industry every year as it showcase locally produced films.


Now on its 39th year the MMDA released the partial list of entries, here are 15 movies to expect this 2013.

We can finally confirm the rumors about a “Be Careful with My Heart” movie this year as “Ser Chief” and “Maya” will bring the “kiligs” in the big screen. Bong Revilla is back once more for another superhero movie entitled “My Super Kap” produced by Imus Productions. Also the twin troubles “Kimmy” and “Dora” will have a “Kimmy Dora prequel” this MMF.

Among the 15 entries, only 8 will be selected as finalist for the mainstream category and the results will be revealed on June 18 according to MMDA.

The MMFF is part of the annual film festival in Metro Manila, Philippines held from December 25 until the first week of January the following year. During the festival, no foreign films are shown in the Philippine theaters in order to showcase locally produced films.
